Neighbors, Speak and Water Planet
ECO's 1996 public service campaign focuses on how the health of the oceans is not only critical to the health of the creatures that inhabit them, but also to human health. All three spots feature the stunning cinematography of Bob Talbot. The theatrical PSA is narrated by renowned actress Linda Hunt and scored by composer Jay Chattaway, best known for his work on the current "Star Trek" television series. Speak and Water Planet, ECO's first 30 second television PSAs are narrated by actor Pierce Brosnan. Water Planet was re-released in 1998 in honor of the International Year of the Oceans and was also used by ABC affiliates in the United States to promote the International Coastal Clean-up.
