Social Justice

Social Justice

Intersectional Theme

Social justice refers to the fair and equal distribution of resources and opportunities within a society, and it is a crucial component of finding solutions to the climate crisis. Climate change disproportionately affects marginalized communities, such as low-income communities, communities of color, and Indigenous communities, who often have less access to resources and opportunities to adapt to the impacts of climate change. Integrating social justice into climate solutions means ensuring that all individuals have equal access to resources and opportunities to participate in and benefit from efforts to address the crisis.
