Rock & Ice
Biome
The rock and ice biomes are cold regions of the Earth that includes Greenland, Antarctica, and parts of the Arctic. It is characterized by glaciers, ice, snowy mountain peaks, and barren rocky landscapes with minimal life. With temperatures consistently below freezing, this biome supports only the hardiest organisms. Unlike the tundra, it has little to no soil to sustain plant life.
