Temperate Woodlands & Scrub
Biome
This biome consists of open woodlands and dense shrublands, often found in Mediterranean climates like California, Chile, and Australia. Characterized by hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters, it supports plants adapted to drought and fire, such as oaks, sagebrush, and chaparral vegetation.
