Temperate Forests
Biome
The temperate forests biome experiences four distinct seasons with moderate temperatures and rainfall. They contain a mix of deciduous trees (like oaks and maples) and evergreens, supporting diverse wildlife such as deer, bears, and songbirds. Unlike boreal forests, they have richer soils and a higher variety of plant and animal life.
