One Earth named finalist for the GAEA Awards

We are honored to share that One Earth has been selected as one of 15 global finalists for the GAEA Awards, presented by the World Economic Forum. One Earth was chosen in the “Bridging Evidence to Action” category, which recognizes organizations turning rigorous science and data into large-scale action for climate and nature.

The GAEA Awards celebrate transformative partnerships between philanthropy, public institutions, and businesses that are accelerating solutions for people and planet. By showcasing these collaborations, the Awards inspire others to scale up meaningful climate and nature action worldwide.

Following a comprehensive due-diligence and expert review process, the GAEA Awards committee highlighted One Earth’s role in driving systemic change through innovative partnerships and groundbreaking tools.

Why One Earth Was recognized

Our recently launched Minding the Gaps Climate Finance Report showcases insights from the One Earth Solutions Finance Tracker, a powerful new tool, built in collaboration with Vibrant Data Labs, that brings clarity to the climate solutions landscape. By combining cutting-edge data science with the One Earth Solutions Framework—which indexes more than 70 of the most effective solution pathways across energy transition, nature conservation, and regenerative agriculture—we've created the first AI-enhanced climate solutions knowledge base for finance.

The One Earth Solutions Finance Tracker has mapped over $400 billion in annual financial flows across 10,000 companies and nonprofits, revealing urgent funding gaps and opportunities. For the first time, we have a holistic picture of where both philanthropic and investment capital are flowing in the United States. These resources provide investors and philanthropists with the clarity and confidence to strategically direct billions of dollars toward the most critical and underfunded climate and nature solutions—transforming climate finance from disconnected investments into a coordinated global system optimized for maximum impact.

A global movement for system change

The GAEA Awards acknowledge that solving the climate and biodiversity crises requires deep, systems-wide collaboration that shares risks and pools resources equitably. One Earth’s work with Vibrant Data Labs exemplifies this principle: uniting rigorous science, advanced data tracking, and human-centered storytelling to spark systemic change.

Being named a finalist means joining a global community of changemakers who are demonstrating that climate collaboration is not only possible—it is scalable. As part of this recognition, GAEA finalists embark on a year-long journey curated by the World Economic Forum to amplify impact and accelerate their objectives .
