Protecting Gray Whale Birthing Lagoons from Sea Level Rise in Baja California, Mexico through Women-led Restoration

This project plants mangrove trees to raise the elevation of tidelands and protect Laguna San Ignacio from sea level rise. It is operated by wives of local fishermen and protects critical gray whale birthing habitats.
