The Chang Jiang Plain Evergreen Forests bioregion is located in the Eastern Eurasia realm (eastern Palearctic) and contains two ecoregions – Changjiang Plain Evergreen Forests (657), Yellow Sea Saline Meadow (748) – totaling approximately 44.5 million hectares of land area.

The Chang Jiang Plain Evergreen Forests bioregion is part of the Central East Asian Forests subrealm and is made up of two ecoregions: (1) Changjiang Plain Evergreen Forests (2) Yellow Sea Saline Meadow.
