Circular Fibersheds

A circular fibershed is based on the concept of "soil to soil," so its circularity engages the atmosphere, biosphere, and pedosphere, making sure that the fibers we're working with come from soils we are working actively to regenerate lost carbon stocks. Then, the plant and animal material coming from those regenerating working landscapes goes through its full cycle of use and, at the end of life, is then able to return to the soil. This form of circularity protects our planet's largest carbon pool, our oceans, which have been feeling the brunt of a non-circular fashion system.
